Name of the Project: “Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) trends and serotype  characterization of Streptococcus pneumoniae causing pneumonia and Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD) in Indian children”

Age Limit: 40


Post II

Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow

No. of Post: 01

Name of the Project: “Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) trends and serotype  characterization of Streptococcus pneumoniae causing pneumonia and Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD) in Indian children”

Age Limit: 35


Post III

Name of the Post: Research Assistant

No. of Post: 01

Name of the Project: “Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) trends and serotype  characterization of Streptococcus pneumoniae causing pneumonia and Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD) in Indian children”

Age Limit: 30

Duration: The duration of the appointment will be for one year extendable to up to three years or till the Conclusion/ Termination of the project, whichever is sooner.

How to Apply:

For the above posts, the applicant should not have actually completed the age as mentioned above. Age limits will be reckoned as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

  1. The candidates ought to bring all original certifications of educational qualifications, Experience, Aadhaar Card. along with one set of photocopies of the very same duly self-attested and 2 passport size photos.
  2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
  3. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this institute.
  4. The above post is purely short-term as well as are initially for 1 year. This could be
    extended/terminated depending based on the requirement of the project as well as the satisfactory performance of the staff.

Date, Time & Venue of Interview: attend the walk-in-interview on 15/12/2020 & 16/12/2020 at in the Office of the undersigned. Candidates reporting after 10.00 AM shall not be entertained.

For Post I

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 54,000/- plus 24 percent HRA pm

Essential Qualifications: PhD/MD/MS/MDS on equivalent degree in Microbiology/Life

Science

OR

Having three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after

M.Sc.(Life Science) /ME/M.Tech with at one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualifications: With demonstrable experience in Microbiology /Molecular biology techniques i.e. Bacterial culture, PCR, Real-time PCR etc.


For Post II

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- plus 24 percent HRA pm

Essential Qualifications: Master Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology or Life Science and two years of research experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to candidate which are NET qualified.
  • With demonstrable experience in Microbiology /Molecular biology techniques i.e. Bacterial culture, Identification, Multiplex PCR and Realtime PCR etc.

For Post III

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- pm

Essential Qualifications: Master Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology or Life Science

Desirable Qualifications: With demonstrable Experience in Microbiology /Molecular biology techniques i.e. Bacterial culture, DNA extraction, PCR, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis etc.
