Job Description:

·         Test for Bioburden, environmental monitoring swabs, as well as in-process samples

·         Microbiological Testing of water samples for specified microorganisms

·         Identification of Microbial cultures

·         Maintenance and preparation of microbial cultures for GPT testing Growth promotion testing for microbiological media

·         Testing of Biological Indicators Sample receipt and analysis

·         Maintenance as well as monitoring of refrigerator

·         Calibration of analytical weighing balance

·         Calibration of micropipettes

·         Operation and cleaning of BSC/ LAFU Operation of Milliflex pump

·         Operation of Biological Incubators

·         Operation of Compound Microscope

·         Operation of Densicheck Operation of Vitek 2 Compact

·         Seed lot characterization

·         Monitoring of cleaning of clean area Prevention, clean up as well as sanitization after spillage

·         Records maintenance and documentation

·         Test for Viability & Gram’s staining

·         Determination of Spore population of Biological Indicators

·         Reporting OOS & excursions to supervisor

Qualification: M.Sc (Microbiology or Biotechnology).
