Fellowship: As per SERB norms Rs. 31,000/- pm for GATE as well as CSIR-NET qualified applicants. Otherwise according to the norms of SASTRA University.

Essential Qualification: First Class in M. Sc. Biotechnology, Life science as well as M.Tech Biotechnology, Chemical engineering. with GATE/ CSIR-NET qualification is favoured

Project Description: Extracting and also Isolating bioactives from choose plants of Crotalaria to target nosocomial infections. The project entails natural products (secondary metabolites) isolation, semi-synthesis and microbiology

Desirable Qualification: Fundamental knowledge in Chemistry as well as Biology with a desire to learn new techniques.
