Name of the Project: “A Low Cost Portable microfluidics embedded on chip rRT-PCR …….. point-of care optoelectronics device for large scale screening of emerging viral disease like SARS COV2”,

Duration: The selected candidate will be appointed for 10 months or the termination of the project whichever is earlier.


Post II

Name of the Post: Research Associate

No. of Posts: (one post)

Name of the Project: “A Low Cost Portable microfluidics embedded on chip rRT-PCR …….. point-of care optoelectronics device for large scale screening of emerging viral disease like SARS COV2”,

Duration: The selected candidate will be appointed for 10 months or the termination of the project whichever is earlier.

The appointment will be purely on a temporary basis as well as co-terminus with the project.

Interested candidates may send their application (clearly mentioning the essential qualification as well as a desirable qualification) as well as testimonials (preferably in a single pdf file) via e-mail and send out to PI (jaydeep@jnu.ac.in) mentioning the project title and the position in the subject of the e-mail.

The last date of sending out the applications is 13th November 2020.

The qualified candidates can further be shortlisted based on qualifications/experience depending on the number of candidates as well as finally they will be notified with an e-mail with the date and schedule of the interview.

Income: Rs. 20,000 plus 24 percent HRA per month.

Essential Qualifications: Candidate must have B.Sc. or higher degree (with minimum 55% marks) or higher in Life Sciences/Biotechnology or any related field.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in nanotechnology.


For Post II

Income: Rs. 47,000 plus 24 percent HRA per month.

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Candidate must have completed PhD in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Nanotechnology or any related field and have MSc/MTech in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Nanotechnology (with minimum 55% marks).

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in nanotechnology.
