SRL Diagnostics is seeking a bioinformatics enthusiast for the role of Senior Bioinformatics Scientist. In this role, you will certainly get the opportunity to lead and also handle customer-facing projects and also multidisciplinary teams, apply your data science abilities to solve complex biological problems, improve the understanding of biological systems and also diseases and also accelerate drug discovery making use of machine learning and also AI.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Ph. D. [with 0-2 years of pertinent experience], Masters [with 3-5 years of relevant experience] or B. Tech [with > 5 years of pertinent experience], in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biology or related technological discipline.
  • Pertinent experience in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Omics data analysis, Machine
  • Learning or related fields is favoured.
  • Proficient in a programming language used for data analysis such as Python or R.
  • Previous experience and also understanding of biological data, experimental design, data mining, and curation is favoured.
  • Hands-on experience applying computational algorithms and also statistical methods to structured as well as unstructured big data.
  • Deep understanding of basic statistical concepts as well as principles, such as regression and also hypothesis testing.
  • Extensive experience in data mining, cleansing, data visualization, as well as machine learning.
  • Demonstrated success in collaboration, as well as independent work.
