Govt NCSCM Scientist Jobs W/Rs. 53,000 pm Pay – MSc Apply Online. NCSCM – National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management recruitment for the MSc candidates are eligible to apply for Project positions, as per the details that have posted below:

National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) is a research organization of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. The Organization is looking for Project Staff for some of its projects on a contract basis, to work at the Head office in Chennai (Tamil Nadu)). Last date for on-line submission of the application (for all post) is 15/10/2020 (Thursday).

How to Apply:

  • The project staff posts are meant for various externally moneyed/ funded/ Network/ other projects are undertaken by NCSCM on a time-bound manner. These posts are co-terminus with the respective project. The date of completion of these projects is 31/03/2021. The completion date for individual projects might vary, at a later stage, as a result of various reasons.
  • Application is open only for Indian Nationals
  • Interested as well as the qualified candidate needs to submit his/her application on-line in the website www.ncscm.res.in/cms/careers/careers.php on or
    prior to the last date of online submission of application. No other mode of application shall be considered. Do not apply via a mobile browser.
  • The e-mail used for registration, while submitting the on-line application, shall be the normal mode of communication. For this reason, the applicant is advised to use a valid email id, on a regular basis check the email and keep it active a minimum of until the completion of the existing recruitment process. Request to change the communication email id will not be entertained and responded.
  • Candidate needs to be careful in filling out the on-line application. The online application software has provision for temporary saving, which does not amount to application submission. The candidate is advised to check the data before proceeding to click the “Final Submit” button in the on-line application software, after which no change could be made. Request to add/delete/change/ alter, any data currently submitted, will not be
    entertained. Related communication, if any, will not be responded.
  • An applicant can apply only up to a max of 2 positions All applications of the candidate that have actually applied for more than 2 positions will summarily be rejected.
  • The applicant is required to upload scanned copies of the self-attested documents in proof of their claim at the time of online application. The uploaded documents must be clear as well as visible; or else the application will be rejected.
  • The applicant is required to upload the below documents, whichever is applicable while submitting the application. Immediately after application, the applicant need NOT send the hardcopy of the application to NCSCM.
    ♦ Photo
    ♦ SSLC/ 10th or equivalent mark sheet
    ♦ 12th or equal mark sheet
    ♦ Bachelor’s Degree/ Provisional certification
    ♦ Master’s Degree/ Provisional certification
    ♦ Doctorate Degree/ Provisional certificate
    ♦ Experience/Service certification in support of job or research experience.
    ♦ Community certification
    ♦ Any other document which is in support of the application.
  • For Bachelor’s/ Master’s/ Doctorate degree, either a degree or a provisional certification will only be considered as a qualified document for the award of the degree. Mark sheets/ course completion certification/ thesis submitted proof/ viva-voce completed proof, will certainly not be taken into consideration.
  • Experience of an applicant will certainly be counted based upon the valid experience/ service certificate submitted. The applicant can upload either a couple of documents to prove the starting and ending date of service, in support of a particular experience. If only one date is available, then that experience will certainly not be taken into consideration.
  • Qualified candidates need to undergo personnel interview through Video Conference at the scheduled date given below. Nevertheless, time and also weblink for video, the conference will certainly be sent to the respective applicant with their registered email address.

Remuneration: 53000 + HRA

Qualifications :

  • Essential – First class Post Graduate degree in Natural Science/ Marine Science/
    Microbiology, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience relevant to the nature of work.
  • Desirable – PhD in a relevant subject.

Nature of Work:

  • Undertake periodical field surveys, collection of primary as well as secondary data and data processing.
  • Undertake laboratory analysis, report preparation, data compilation/ processing, preparation of progress reports etc.

For Post II

Remuneration: 25000 + HRA

Qualifications :

  • Essential – First class Post Graduate degree in Natural Science/ Marine Science/
    Microbiology, with a minimum of 1-year experience relevant to the nature of work.

Nature of Work:

  • Aid Scientists in field sample collection, collection of primary and secondary data as well as data processing.
  • Assist Scientists in laboratory analysis, report preparation, data compilation/ processing, preparation of progress reports etc.
