CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar is actively engaged in multidisciplinary research in frontier areas of modern biology as well as biotechnology such as stress genomics & proteomics, transgenic, plant-microbe interactions, metagenomics, marine biotechnology, adaptation biology, etc. We are looking for young, talented & motivated persons for a CSIR sponsored Project “New generation hybrid formulations employing one or more constituents among biostimulants, biofertilizer and nano-fertilizers: Application and mechanisms”.

Application Procedure for CSMCRI:
The interested candidates meeting the mentioned qualifications can send their application in the prescribed format only by email (drchaudhary@csmcri.res.in) in advance before 16 April 2021 (No application will be taken into consideration after 5.45 PM on 16 April 2021) for the screening procedure. Applicants ought to send a scanned copy of the application pasted with passport size photo as well as one set of all certificates (will certainly be verified with originals at the time of joining) for screening procedure to appear in the online-Interview. The online-Interview will certainly be held on 29.04.2021 (10.30 AM – 5.00 PM) via the on-line procedure. Incomplete application/without application format would be rejected during screening.

Fellowship:
(i) Rs. 31000/-( consolidated) @pm- for M. Sc. (Microbiology/ Biotechnology) scholars that are chosen via (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection procedure via National level exams conducted by central government departments and their agencies as well as institutes.
(ii) Rs. 25000/-( consolidated) @pm- for others i.e. M.Sc. (Microbiology/ Biotechnology) that do not fall under (a) and (b) above.
Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology.
Desirable: Work experience in plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria, Real-time PCR and also Next-generation-sequencing.
For Post II
Fellowship: Rs. 20000/-( consolidated) @ pm
Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Botany/ Agriculture).
Desirable: Lab work experience.
