VACANCY NOTICE JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is available in the Omics of Algae Group (GOA) and DBT-ICGEB Centre for Advanced Bioenergy Research, ICGEB, New Delhi. The position is available initially for one year with further extensions based upon performance.
Title of the project: “Multi-Omics in Microalgae (MOMICs): Tools and Pipelines for Data Integration and Visualization”, funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, GoI, New Delhi, India.
Educational qualifications (as per DBT guidelines):
1. Candidates should hold a first-class M. Sc./B. Tech./M. Tech. in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics or any other relevant field.
2. Candidates with DBT-JRF (Cat-II)/NET/GATE will be given preference.
Candidates with prior research experience in genomics, proteomics/ computational biology will be preferred.
Proven experience of high throughput data analysis, database/website development, Python/PERL/Linux, PHP/HTML, and MySQL/Oracle.
