How to Apply:

The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above positions are completely on a temporary basis and also co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will certainly be for one year or till the tenability of the project whichever is earlier and the same can be curtailed/extended on the basis of an assessment of the applicant’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to choose the applicant against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the applicant. Reservation of posts will be as per Govt. of India standards. The appointment might be ended any time by giving one month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.

Essential Qualification:

• For JRF, candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests as mentioned in the DST
  Office Memorandum SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019, and having M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Life Science/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Botany or any other branch of life science are eligible.
• For PA-I, candidates having M.Sc./M.Tech degree (with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent) in Life Science/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Botany or any other branch of life science as per the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated August 21, 2019, are eligible to apply.
