We are all aware of the deadly coronavirus that has continued to widen its domain of symptoms. Since the outbreak of the disease, unusual symptoms have come to the surface and wreak havoc in the public domain.  Recently, a scientist stated that one of the unusual warning signs of COVID-19 may be developing in the mouth.  Many patients who suffered from COVID-19 experienced discomfort in mouth-such as coated tongue or ‘COVID tongue’.

Strange mouth ulcers were observed in COVID-19 patients. These mouth ulcers were in the form of white patches and ulcers all over the tongue and mouth respectively. Although it’s a harmless condition, which will resolve itself in a few days or weeks yet if one develops ‘COVID tongue’ along with other signs of coronavirus, it is important to get diagnosed and confirm .

If one has contracted the virus, SARS-CoV-2 or not.

While new and unusual symptoms of COVID-19 continue to expand and increase take every precautionary measure, to contain the spread of the virus.
