VACANCY NOTICE

Name of the Post: Research Associate (RA)

No. of Posts: 01

Duration: The position is short-term, with the initial period of one year, which can be extended to the maximal duration of the project, year on the basis, based on annual assessment.

  • Interested Candidates are requested to send their Curriculum Vitae to the following email: dhiraj@icgeb.res.in.
  • Last date for receiving the application: 28th December 2020.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be asked to appear for an interview.

Qualifications: PhD in any field of life sciences.

Requirements: Experience in molecular cloning, protein cloning, expression and purification in prokaryotic as well as eukaryotic systems, making stably transfected eukaryotic cell lines, FACS/sorting, immunofluorescence, co-IP, Gateway cloning, ChIP, Gel-shift as well as super-shift assays will be desirable. The RA is expected to individually carry over the designated work and need to be capable of trouble-shooting, amenable to work in a big group as well as should be highly dedicated as well as sincere. Experience on working inside BSL3 laboratory with a pathogen like Mycobacterium tuberculosis will be preferred.
