Terms and conditions for the NIV Job:

1. Contract appointee will not have any claim on a regular post in this institute or any other ICMR Institute or in any Department of Government of India and their contract service will not confer any right for more assignment or transfer to any other project or appointment/absorption in funding agency or in this institute. Benefits of Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim, etc. are not admissible. An undertaking to that effect has to be submitted at the time of joining.
23. Initial contract appointment will normally be for a duration of six months and further continuation/ extension of the service will certainly depend on the requirement of the Institute, performance evaluation and also the approval of the competent authority in case to case basis.
24. In case of selection, a candidate should produce all documents or certificates in original.
    relating to (1) Educational qualifications (2) Date of Birth (3) Experience certificates (4) One recent passport size photograph (5) Identification proof i.e. Adhar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving License etc. (6) One set of self-attested xeroxes of all documents (7) SC/ST/OBC/ Disability Certificate, if applicable, for verification at the time of joining the post.

26. The Appointing Authority reserves the right to end the service of the contract personnel.

Essential Qualification for the NIV Job: 1st Class Masters Degree in Life Science * relevant to the present need, with 2 years of work experience or 2nd Class PG Degree

with PhD in the pertinent subject.

Job Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, supervision and analysis of the immunological assays.
• Implementation of various immunological assays including (1) cryopreservation & revival of PBMCs, (2) Immunophenotyping by flow cytometry (3) ELISPOT assay.
• Should be able to compile and undertake data analysis making use of different tools.

Essential Qualification for the NIV Job: Graduate in Life Science * Subjects

relevant to the present need, with three years of work experience or a Master’s Degree in those subjects.
