Sub-alpine:

The Sub-alpine forest is alias spruce-fir forest as its dominant trees are Engelmann spruce and subalpine fir. This forest establishes in the sub-alpine zone to the south of the Tropic of Cancer. Avalanches play a crucial role in forest diversity and uprising. The varieties of trees include lodgepole pine, Englemann spruce, and alpine fir, and animals include pine marten, mountain caribou, and American pika use this habitat.

The rising temperature may increase the mortality rates of the trees in the sub-alpine forest. In excluding outbreaks and wildlife, trees of the sub-alpine forest of Colorado are dying because of rising temperature and pressure. The JOURNAL OF ECOLOGY has also said that the mortality rate of trees is increasing. The mortality rate is expanding because of the high increase in heat and dry conditions. In Colorado, the analyst found that heat is responsible for over 70% of tree demise in the 13 areas of the sub-alpine forest they measured over the past 37 years.

We can see that there is a strong relationship between climate and tree mortality. As the temperature increases or the weather varies mortality rate of the tree is increasing day by day. The increase in the mortality rate is influencing the vast trees that are the foremost source of carbon.

Field level accuracy:

The various types of outbreaks occurred in Colorado subalpine forest. Mostly beetles outbreaks take place in the jungles. Substantially bark beetles target the vast trees due to the higher temperature and lower precipitation. This research will provide detailed information about how many trees lead to death.

The next generation:

The Engelmann spruce and subalpine fir trees are that which produce most seeds. When trees were ruin researchers said that there are not enough seeds to regenerate these trees in a forest in the burned area. Bees and Beetles are governing over the fir trees and spined trees because of low precipitation and higher temperature. 

Conclusion:

The sub-alpine forest plays a crucial role in maintaining the diversity of the jungles. The trees are the source of carbon in a large amount and produce a large number of seeds. Sub-alpine forests extend across the California region. Subalpine forests’ future is uncertain due to the changing climates.
