ADOPTION OF GLUTEN-FREE DIET

bioxone November 27, 2020November 27, 2020

Shrestha Dutta, Amity University Kolkata

Ailments such as celiac disease and gluten sensitivity forbid people from eating the mesh of proteins that provides structure to the wheat dough known as gluten. Doughnuts, treats, pizza covering, cake, bread, and pasta are among the numerous wheat flour-based nourishments forbidden to individuals who are gluten sensitive.

In a survey conducted, the researchers questioned almost 3,000 people about gluten-free diets who were not diagnosed with gluten intolerance. According to the survey, one conclusion was that celebrity endorsement did not influence commons to adopt a gluten-free diet. Additionally, losing weight was also not a significant reason for not consuming gluten in the diet.

The most important indication of this survey was that people adopted a gluten-free diet to get acne-free skin. Most people believed unlike salt, sugar, and fat, limiting the consumption of gluten in their diet is healthier. Moreover, some people consumed gluten-free food upon the advice given by family, companions, and healthcare providers. The researchers find it is hard to diagnose gluten intolerance and propose that gluten-free consumers follow the recommendation of their medical services suppliers are attempting the diet to see whether it causes them to feel better.

AMPEROMETRIC BIOSENSOR OF L-FUCOSE- FIRST SCREENING TEST OF CANCER?

bioxone November 27, 2020

RUCHITA KARMAKAR, AMITY UNIVERSITY KOLKATA Detection of Fucose is the cancer-marker in urine that helps in the initial screening of cancer. The Amperometric biosensing methods have the advantage of being fast, easy, and accurate results in urinalysis. Yet, the coexisting electroactive interferences as those of Ascorbic acid(AA), dopamine(DA), and uric acid(UA) make it difficult to […]

-Binayak Das, Team bioXone The formation of a cleft-palate or cleft-lip in an individual is due to the combined contributions of both genetic and environmental factors. Years of research have now revealed that differential expressions caused due to epigenetic factors like DNA methylation and histone modifications can help us determine the exact genes responsible for […]
