Job Profile:
Food Analyst/Chemist/Microbiologist to perform standardized qualitative as well as quantitative tests to determine the physical or chemical properties of food or beverage products.
Job tasks:
- To conduct standardized physical and also chemical test including toxic substances and also pesticide residues on food as well as beverages utilizing instruments such as ICP-AES, GC-FPD/TCD/ECD and HPLC to guarantee compliance with standards and also regulations.
- To prepare standard operative procedures for different tests based on nationwide as well as international standards such as ISO and also APHA
- To record and compile sample analysed as well as a test performed.
- To maintain lab according to GLP and also GMP
- To maintain records of testing results or various other documents as required by state or other governing agencies such as ISO, NABL, FSSAI
- To develop and review quality and safety policies and also manage audits by 3rd party inspector.
Qualification:
M. Technology in food engineering and Technology/ M.Tech in Food Technology/B. Technology in Food technology with experience in handling instruments like GC, HPLC, ICP and also water testing etc. and also Microbiologist to perform microbiological test pertaining to food, water and beverages
Skills:
Experience in handling instruments like GC, HPLC, ICP and water testing etc/ experience in microbiological test pertaining to food, water and beverages
Location: TERI-Gram
Salary: Rs. 30000 to Rs. 35000
