Name of the Project: Understanding diversification of Impatiens species in the Northern Western Ghats
Funding Agency: DBT
Tenure of the post: Six months (extendable based on performance)
Age Max: 30 years, with relaxation based on Govt of India norms.

Fellowship amount:
- Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA (JRF)
- Rs. 25,000/- (Project Assistant)
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the financing agency):
- MSc in Biological Sciences (awarded) with a minimum of one year experience in carrying out field ecology projects with plants as well as experience with insect identification/ taxonomy.
- Applicants with CSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualification are eligible to apply. If a suitable applicant is not found, applicants with a first-class Master’s degree in Biological Sciences (awarded) and experience in field ecology research as mentioned above may be considered.
Preference: Candidates with experience working on plant-animal interactions/plant ecology projects in the field.
