Duration: This is a project position whose duration is only till the period of the DBT-funded project (until March 2022).

Job Description: The chosen applicant will be conducting experiments to scale-up fungal fermentation for the production of cellulolytic enzymes. The candidate will certainly additionally be responsible for preparing detailed technological reports summarizing the result as well as for timely submission of these reports.
Educational Qualification: PhD in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or other related field with experience in using fermenters.
Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience of scaling up fungal or bacterial processes in a fermenter. Experience with statistical optimization of process parameters and also modelling-based improvement of processes. Experience with cellulase activity measurements.
Emoluments: The salary will certainly be based on DBT norms, based on qualification and also experience.
