AGE: Below 35 years as on November 15, 2020. Age relaxation will certainly be given based on Govt. of India standards.

DURATION: Originally for a duration of one year and also extendable up to 2 years or till termination of the project whichever is sooner based upon performance evaluation on annual basis.

Selection Procedure:

Suitably qualified candidates might send applications in the prescribed format with a photo, a copy of full resume indicating the percentage of Marks obtained and attested photocopies of credentials and experience to get to the undersigned only via Email on or prior to November 15, 2020. Application form in addition to all supporting documents should be submitted as a single PDF file to pmdjobs@rgcb.res.in. and also laloraya@rgcb.res.in. The Advertisement number in addition to the position for which the applicant is applying should be mentioned in the ‘SUBJECT’ part of the Email. If an applicant wishes to make an application for various positions, separate application forms need to be submitted for each and every position. The chosen applicant will be needed to work full time in the Female Reproduction and Metabolic Syndromes Lab, Division of Molecular Reproduction, Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram. Selection to the position will certainly not entitle the candidate to any kind of future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). Just like all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co-terminus with the end of the project.

Applications which are not in the prescribed format will summarily be rejected.

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need to apply. Applicants will certainly be shortlisted for the ONLINE selection interview based upon eligibility criteria. Selection of suitable applicants will be made based on qualifications and also performance in the selection interview.

FOR POST I

FELLOWSHIP: 31,000/- plus 16 percent HRA each month.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. The candidate needs to have a Post Graduate Degree with a minimum of 70% marks in Life Science/ MVSc/Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from a recognized University.
  2. The candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET consisting of Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) with at least 95 percentile/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies as well as Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Exam for Biology &  Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Examination.

FOR POST II

FELLOWSHIP: 35,000/- plus 16 percent HRA each month.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. The applicant needs to have a Post Graduate Degree with at the very least 70% marks in Life Science/ MVSc/Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from a recognized University.
  2. The applicant should have qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) with at least 95 percentile/ or National Level Exam conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and also Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam.
  3. The candidate needs to have finished at the very least 2 years of post-MSc or one year of post MBBS/MVSc/MPharm documented research experience and one publication in SCI Journal.
