NAME OF THE PROJECT: “Evaluation and in vivo validation of tryptanthrin analogues as potent lead molecules for malignant melanoma chemotherapy”

NAME OF THE PI: Dr Ruby John Anto

AGE: Below 35 years as on February 05, 2021. Age relaxation will certainly be given based on Govt. of India standards.

DURATION: The selected applicant will originally be appointed provisionally and also final appointment will be given on approval and formalization of the selection by CSIR. The salary of the applicant will certainly be disbursed only after getting the final approval of the appointment from CSIR.

Initially for a duration of one year and extendable up to three years or till termination of the project based upon performance evaluation on yearly basis.

Selection Procedure:

Suitably qualified applicants may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of full resume indicating the percentage of Marks obtained and also attested xeroxes of credentials and also the experience to reach the undersigned only through Email on or before February 05, 2021. FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 35,000/- plus 16 percent HRA pm

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. The applicant should have First class Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences with excellent academic records.
  2. The applicant ought to have qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments as well as their Agencies and Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Grad Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam.
  3. Documented research experience of at the very least 2 years, other than MSc project work, in the relevant area is required.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

As the work includes animal tissue culture as well as animal tumour models, prior experience with animal cell culture and also animal handling is desirable.
