CSIR Recruitment 2020 For Biological Sciences at TKDL Unit – Apply Online. CSIR-Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (CSIR-TKDL) is hiring msc biological sciences and bioinformatics candidates for project jobs. Interested and eligible candidates can check out all of the details on the same below:

The CSIR-Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (CSIR-TKDL) Unit is engaged in the
protection and also the preservation of India’s vast traditional knowledge present in ancient texts by converting the information into modern languages. It aims to stop the misappropriation of Indian Systems of Medicine via patenting at the worldwide level. CSIR-TKDL Unit is a unit under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body with the Department of Scientific as well as Industrial Research (Ministry of Science and Technology).

Applications are invited from qualified applicants (Indian nationals) who meet
the necessary educational and also work requirements to work on a project titled “Filing of Third Party Observations and Pre-grant Oppositions based on TKDL Evidences” (MLP0008). The engagement is totally on short-term and also contract basis. The engagement shall be originally up to 31 March 2021 and also max until 31 March 2025, i.e., co-terminus with the project. The extension of tenure of any project staff beyond 31 March 2021 will certainly be subject to review by a Review Committee at the end of each year or earlier, as deemed necessary. Age Limit: 35 years for Project Associate-I. The above age limits are relaxable for applicants of statutory groups according to CSIR/Govt. of India instructions on the subject.

Qualifications & Experience (if any):

Master’s degree in Biological Sciences/Bioinformatics/ Cheminformatics from recognized University or equivalent in patent analytics/informatics.

Desirable Qualification: Proficiency in patent analytics/ informatics/ PG Diploma in IPR, good written and oral skills in English.

Job Requirement: Preference will certainly be given to those with proficiency in computers and also commonly used software with the ability to work as a part of a team.

Monthly Emoluments:

For Project Associate– I

  1. Rs. 31,000/-+ HRA to scholars who are chosen with (a) National Eligibility Tests–.
    CSIR-UGC NET consisting of lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level exams conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
  2. Rs. 25,000/-+ HRA for others who do fall under (i) above.

Note:

(a) Candidates must present themselves at Vigyan Suchna Bhawan, CSIR-NISCAIR Building, 14, Satsang Vihar Marg, New Delhi– 110 067 for a Written test at the above-mentioned dates against each post, the timing of which will notified on the CSIR website or through e-mail. The interview of shortlisted candidates will take place online, the details of which will be made available on CSIR website. The results of the written test will certainly be declared the same day or the next day. The candidates are asked to visit the CSIR website or their email frequently to know the information and status.

(b) The candidates must bring with them original certifications/ testimonials at the time of test together with 2 copies of self-attested photos as well as a set of self-attested copies of certifications/ testimonials in support of age, qualification, marks obtained, experience, if any type of, etc. The applicants must likewise bring a copy of their bio-data neatly typed on A4 paper.

(c) The candidates belonging to booked categories should bring their original certificate of categories to which they belong issued by the competent authority (together with self-attested copies of the same).

(d) No TA/DA will certainly be paid for attending the Test/ Interview.

(e) If presently employed, then the candidate will certainly need to furnish a no-objection certificate from the current employer at the time of joining.

(f) Candidature will be totally provisional based on fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

(g) Canvassing in any type of form will render the applicant disqualified.
