The number of positions as advertised may vary depending upon the suitability of applicants and needs of the applicants in the project.
The on-line applications should be reached on or prior to 26th October 2020. All the applications will be scrutinized by the duly constituted committee and eligible candidates will certainly be interviewed over Video Conferencing. The date of online interview will be informed separately.

- The candidates who want to make an application for more than one positions need to apply separately for each position.

- Incomplete applications, late received applications, applications received with any other mode & applications for multiple posts; in a single application form would certainly not be accepted and summarily rejected.
- All applicants must fulfil all the essential requirements of the position(s) and along with other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as on 26th October 2020.

The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the period of the project. There will certainly be no right implicit or explicit for the regular position for any kind of post in CSIR-IHBT, whatsoever.
The decision of the Director, CSIR-IHBT, Palampur will be final for engagement of Research Associate-I in CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (H.P.).

For Post I
Emoluments:
- (i) Rs. 31,000/-p.m. + HRA to those who are selected through
a) National Eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
or
b) A selection process through National Level examinations conducted by the central government and their agencies and institutions. - (ii) Rs. 25,000/-p.m. + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology or
the equivalent from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualifications: One publication in the area of bioinformatics.
For Post II
Emoluments:
- (i) Rs. 35,000/-p.m. + HRA to those who are selected through
a) National Eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
or
b) A selection process through National Level examinations conducted by the central government and their agencies and institutions. - (ii) Rs. 28,000/-p.m. + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Essential Qualifications:
(i) M.Sc. Botany from a recognized university.
(ii) Two years of experience in Research and Development in Industry and Academic
Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and
services.
Desirable Qualifications: One publication in the area of bioinformatics.
