How to Apply:
Applicants satisfying the above-mentioned qualification, age etc. may attend the Walk-in-Interview scheduled the 30th December 2020 at CLRI at 09.00 AM onwards along with application form available on the internet site (www.clri.org) duly filled with copies of necessary certificates together with original certificates for verification and 02 passport size colour photographs. An/ request for a virtual mode of the interview may be sent to
recruit@clri.res.in on or before 23rd December 2020, which may be considered by
Competent Authority, CSIR-CLRI on his own discretion.
- The number of positions needed is indicative in nature, there may be an increase/ decrease in the number based upon the requirement.
- Candidates discovered suitable for selection will be empanelled in addition to the positions required. Empanelled candidates may be chosen for future project requirements.
- The date of determining the qualification and age will be the date of Walk-in-Interview.
- Final year/ Semester students those who are waiting for results are not eligible to be considered.
- Tenure mentioned above may be extendable. In any case, it is co-terminus with the project or till such time this requirement exists whichever is earlier.
- Candidates are asked for not to send their applications in advance. Original certificates should be produced for verification at the time of Walk-in-Interview.
- Applicants coming after 11.00 AM will normally not allowed for interview.
- No travelling allowance will be paid for attending Walk-in-Interview.

Salary: Rs.28,000 + HRA pm
Tenure: One year
Essential Qualification: M.Sc Biotechnology (OR) B.Tech in Biotechnology from recognized University/ Institute plus 02 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific
activities and services.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in the area of upscaling and downstream processing of proteins for field applications will be given preference.
For Post II
Salary: Rs.28,000 + HRA pm
Tenure: Six months
Essential Qualification: B.Tech (Biotechnology) from recognized University/ Institute plus 02 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
For Post III
Salary: Rs.25,000 + HRA pm
Tenure: One year
Essential Qualification: M.Sc Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques will be given preference.
For Post IV
Salary: Rs.25,000 + HRA pm
Tenure: One year
Essential Qualification: M.Sc Biotechnology from recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in the area of production of enzymes and bioprocessing will be given preference
For Post V
Salary: Rs.25,000 + HRA pm
Tenure: One year
Essential Qualification: M.Sc Microbiology from recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in the area of bio-process engineering/ handling fomenters for protein production will be given preference

Essential Qualification: B.Tech in Biotechnology from recognized University/ Institute
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in the area of Pilot scale Protein Purification will be given preference
