NAME OF THE POST: Project Assistant

NAME OF THE PROJECT: “Exosome based therapeutics in cervical cancer”

NAME OF THE PI: Dr Ram Mohan Ram Kumar

AGE: Below 28 years as on November 20, 2020. Age relaxation will certainly be given as per Govt. of India norms.

DURATION: One year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.

Selection Procedure:

Suitably qualified candidates may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of complete resume indicating the percentage of marks obtained and attested xeroxes of credentials as well as experience to reach the undersigned only via Email on or prior to November 20, 2020. The application form together with all supporting documents must be submitted as a solitary PDF file to pmdjobs@rgcb.res.in. The Advertisement number in addition to the position for which the applicant is applying should be mentioned in the ‘SUBJECT’ part of the Email. If an applicant wishes to make an application for different positions, separate application forms should be submitted for each position. Selection to the position will certainly not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co-terminus with the end of the project.

Applications which are not in the prescribed format will summarily be rejected.

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need to apply. Candidates will certainly be short listed for the selection interview based on eligibility criteria. Selection of suitable applicants will certainly be made based on qualifications and also performance in the selection interview.

No TA/DA/Other emoluments will be given for appearing in the interview.

FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 12,000 (consolidated per month).

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate has to have an MSc/B. Tech in any type of relevant discipline with demonstrable understanding of basic molecular biology. The candidates need to have documented prior experience in cell culture for at least 6 months. Candidates with previous experience in molecular cloning and also microscopy are strongly favoured. Candidates must have a keen interest in cancer research, willing to learn quickly and with good organizational as well as inter-personal abilities.
