Title of the Research Project: “Effects of Air pollutants on Respiratory Health of Traffic Police Personnel of Major Cities of Tamil Nadu – An Observational Study”

Age Limit*: Upper age 30 years

Duration: 3 years

How to Apply for Bharathidasan University Job:

* 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ Female candidates based on Government of India rules

Keep in mind: In the case of other candidates who has actually not qualified with NET or other National level examinations, the designation will certainly be Research Assistant with the consolidated emolument of Rs. 31,000/- each month

Instructions:

  1. Selected candidates will be appointed purely on short-term basis initially for one year that may be extended based upon the performance
  2. Qualification/degree should be from a reputed Institution/University
  3. Applicant must have knowledge of computer like MS Word, MS Excel, as well as Microsoft PPT etc.
  4. The candidate is needed to travel in various major cities of the Tamil Nadu in the project area.
  5. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not ensure for selection
  6. Appointing authority has the right to accept/reject any kind of application without assigning any kind of reason and no correspondence in this matter will certainly be entertained.
  7. Please give the details of two responsible persons of your region or more references to whom you are known.
  8. Chosen candidates will have to produce original documents of their qualification, age &
    experience prior to joining. If the same is not found correct, their selection will be terminated immediately.
  9. Only those fulfilling the above criteria need to apply.
  10. Selection of suitable candidates will certainly be made based upon qualifications, academic career,
    performance in the selection interview as well as the need of the project
  11. Applications will certainly be screened and also candidates whose fulfill the criteria will be shortlisted for interview
  12. Just selected candidate will be communicated and also no other communication in this regard will be entertained.
  13. Date, time and mode of the interview will be communicated later.

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- plus 16 percent HRA per month.

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Life Sciences or relevant degree. A candidate who has qualified with NET / GATE / ICMR / DBT / UGC-CSIR will be preferred.

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with experience in handling PCR and air quality
monitoring instruments will be preferred.


For Post II

Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/- pm

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a relevant degree.

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with 6 months of experience in the handling human/biological samples or conducting fieldwork.
