Name of the Project: “Consortia for Research Platform (CRP) in Biofortification in selected Crops for Nutritional Security.”

Interviews will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates through online (Video call/ Video-Conferencing) to select a suitable candidate in a later course. The Candidates have to make their arrangements for Video Call/ Video-Conferencing facilities for On-line Interviews. The web link will certainly be sent out to the eligible candidates for on-line interviews. The candidates are advised to visit our web site regularly for any kind of updates and changes in the recruitment procedure.
Terms and conditions: 1) The above positions are on a temporary contract basis. 2) The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/ reject any application without assigning any reason(s), as well as no correspondence in this matter, will be entertained. 3) Age, qualifications, etc., will certainly be reckoned as on the date of the Written Test/ Interview. 4) The appointment can be ended with a one-month notification from either side without assigning any type of reason. 5) Since the posts are short-term, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment at NIN or continuation of his/ her services in any other project. 6) Other allowances like CCA, LTC, Medical Claim, and PF are not applicable. 7) The results of the final selection will certainly be placed on the NIN website only. No intimation will certainly be sent by email or phone. 8) The recruited project staff is eligible for leave as per project recruitment guidelines as well as will need to give an undertaking before joining. 9) At the time of joining duty, the applicants need to bring all original certifications of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), Experience, Aadhaar Card, Community as well as PH Certificates (if applicable), passport size photograph along with one set of photocopies of the certificates duly attested (can be self-attested) for verification. 10) The conditions of employment will be the same as that of the project staff on a contract basis. 11) Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- plus 30 percent HRA p.m. fixed without any other allowances.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Food Science & Nutrition from recognized University. Two years of research experience or should have the NET qualification.
Desirable Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience with the operational knowledge of U-HPLC/LC-MS/GC-MS/ICP-MS.
