Essential Qualification:
Applicants ought to have passed their M.Sc./ M.Tech. or equal qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Microbiology etc.) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/SC/ST) as well as at the very least two years of research experience. Applicants need to have qualified NET-JRF/ NET-LS/GATE/ICAR NET or any other national level exam. A copy of your Curriculum Vitae (with two referees) has to be provided along with the application.
Desirable Qualification: Applicants with expertise in programming, knowledge of ‘R’ (Bioconductor), statistics, Python, as well as C++, knowledge/hands-on experience in handling next-generation sequencing data and/or training in molecular biology would be favoured.
