CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT PERSONNEL IN THE NRCD-WII
PROJECT “ASSESSMENT OF THE ECOLOGICAL STATUS OF SELECT INDIAN
RIVERS FOR CONSERVATION PLANNING”
The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is a premier autonomous Institute under the Ministry of
Environment, Forest & Climate Change, and also Government of India, in the field of wildlife research, teaching as well as training. The Institute plans to engage project personnel (Indian nationwide only) in the above-mentioned project on a purely contractual basis, initially for a 1 year period from the date of engagement that can be extended depending upon the candidate’s performance as well as the programme needs
for an additional duration up to 2 years. The project aims to assess the ecological status of Narmada, Mahanadi, Godavari, Cauvery, Periyar and Barak rivers for conservation planning. The upper age limits for all posts can be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/Women/ Physically Challenged as well as 3 years for OBC candidates.
The selection will certainly be made on the basis of online written test followed by personal interview. The on-line written test will be conducted via an outsourced company.
