How to Apply:
The Fellowship amount for the above position goes to par with similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is entirely on a short-term basis with a maximum period of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based upon the performance of the candidate and also discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to choose the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications as well as experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts will be as per Govt. of India norms. The position might be ended whenever by giving a month notification by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any kind of regular position of NIPGR.

Essential Qualification:
- For JRF, candidates chosen through National Eligibility Tests as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum SR/S9/Z -08/ 2018 dated January 30, 2019, and having M.Sc. degree or equivalent (with minimum 60% marks) in Life Science/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Botany or any other branch of life science are eligible.
- For PA-I, candidates having M.Sc./ M.Tech degree (with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent) in Life Science/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Botany or any other branch of life science as per the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z -05/ 2019 dated August 21, 2019 are qualified for interview.
- Candidates having prior work experience of more than one year in plant molecular biology, rice tissue culture, CRISPR-Cas9 system are encouraged to apply. The experience must be supported with documentary evidences.
