GenomeIndia is a pan Indian project focused on Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) of at least 10,000 individuals in the first phase representing diverse ethnic, linguistic, and endogamous groups across various geographical regions of the country. This is a pioneering effort aimed at identifying the common, rare, and structural genetic variations in Indians. The results from this project would thus be a valuable national resource for the country for basic research as well as clinical purposes.

Eligibility:
- PhD in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/
Computer Science/ Statistics or equivalent discipline. - Knowledge of working in Linux environment and coding skills is preferred for this position.
Job Responsibility: The job responsibilities for this position includes analysis of whole genome sequencing and genotyping data for thousands of samples.
Salary: Salary will be as per DBT sanction and rules depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
