ICMR-JALMA Life Science Research/Project Assistant Recruitment. JALMA is recruiting for msc/bsc candidates for Life Sciences vacancy. National JALMA Institute for Leprosy & Other Mycobacterial Diseases is recruiting as per the details given below:

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for totally short-term positions for the following projects funded by Indian Council of Medical Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and also executing agency is ICMR-NJIL & OMD, Agra as early as possible but not later than date 24th December 2020 5.30 P.M by speed post. Project Titles:

1. Validation of Nitric Oxide Synthase2 (NOS2 / INOS) gene polymorphism as Molecular Marker for Diagnosis / Prognosis of Leprosy Reactions (Type 1 and Type 2)- a Prospective Cohort Study.
2. To Investigate the Diagnostic value of Nerve Growth Factors in early case Detection and Disability Predication in contacts of Leprosy affected Persons- An observational Prospective Study.
3. Quantitative Serum Proteomics of Contacts of Leprosy Cases using iTRAQ for Early Diagnosis of Leprosy.
4. Evaluation of Enriched fractions of lead plant extracts for in-vivo anti-tuberculosis
   and immunomodulatory potentials with first line anti-TB drugs for the development of adjunct phytotherapy
5. Transcriptomics Analysis of Monocytes and Macrophages in Leprosy Patients,
   their Contacts and Healthy Individuals

Age Limit: 30 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines

Tenure: Originally for one year and extendable as per need and rules

Place of Work: ICMR-National JALMA Institute for Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Agra, Model Rural Health Research Unit, Ghatampur and associated fields areas and collaborative Institutes.

How to Apply:

Selection Procedure: Interview and also/ or a Written Test will certainly be decided depending on the numbers of eligible applicants applied.

The candidates need to bring all original certifications of educational qualifications (from.

SSC onwards), experience, Aadhaar Card, Community as well as PH Certificates along with one set of photocopies of the same duly attested (can be self-attested) along with a passport size photo for attending the Written Test/ Interview. No TA/DA will certainly be paid for attending the Written Test/ Interview. The recruited project staff is eligible for leave according to guidelines and also will certainly have to give an undertaking/ medical fitness certification and also any other document as required before joining.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will certainly be the same as that of the project staff on a contract basis. Essential Qualifications: Graduate in any Life Sciences as one of the subjects from a

recognized University with three years of work experience from a recognized Institution

or

Master’s degree in any Life Sciences as one of the subjects

Nature of Duties: Experimental Lab work/ Fieldwork
