Chemotaxis – Driven 2D Nanosheet for drug delivery

bioxone October 17, 2020October 17, 2020

Saptaparna Pal, Amity University Kolkata

Nano sealed motor particles represents a group of efficient molecules that can precisely respond to the biological microenvironment and improves therapeutic results. Hence, a 2D nanosheet based catalytic nanometre with chemotaxis behaviour is designed for enhanced and advanced drug delivery towards the Tumor microenvironment. The 2D structure of nanometre allows high catalytic activity, leading to sustained, responsive and relatively long-distance movement.

The nano-meter also demonstrates directional motion towards the high gradient of H2O2 fuel, filled with excellent demotactic properties. The practical drug delivery application is further strengthened by the intracellular acidity triggered biodegradability of the nano-meter after completing the directional drug delivery function. Lastly, operons also serve for biomedical operons application such as controlled and advanced drug delivery.

Role of Rhizobacteria in drought stress of potato plant in response to suppressive oxidative stress and antioxidant enzyme activities

bioxone October 18, 2020

Soumya Sarathi Ganguly, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur Under drought stress, it is considered a positive feature to maintain standard plant physiological functions. This is because it indicates healthy plant growth under those stressful conditions. This study was performed to determine the role of Bacillus subtilis HAS31, which is a plant-growth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) in plant growth under […]

Novel brain cells named “Gorditas” and “OPC” discovered

BioTech Today June 22, 2021June 22, 2021

Mustafa Vora, DY Patil University Navi Mumbai Scientists have recently discovered two types of novel brain cells that are found to be glial cells. One of them is called a gordita, which is an astrocyte, a type of glial cells. The name ‘gorditas’ comes from the plum-shaped appearance of the squat and round cell bodies. […]

Drug amount regulation by implanted SMART

bioxone September 5, 2021September 5, 2021

Nandini Pharasi, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology When implanted in mice, the gene-modified cells will produce a biological medicine that can cure inflammation, allowing the researchers in St. Louis to create therapies for rheumatoid arthritis that have minimal adverse effects. Rheumatoid arthritis, a severe illness that affects about 1.3 million individuals in the United States, […]
