Role:

As a Document Control Specialist, you will be a valued team member of Global Quality Systems supporting PerkinElmer global entities with document change control activities. In this role, you will process change requests and change orders per PerkinElmer global and site level procedures in alignment with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop subject matter expertise in multiple PerkinElmer document control systems and processes to support PerkinElmer global entities

·         Process all change orders for new and revised documents including engineering, manufacturing and quality system documents

·         Manage the distribution and archiving of controlled documents and records in compliance with PerkinElmer procedures

·         Ensure superseded documents are removed from use

·         Create or revise documents in support of system, product or process changes

·         Assist with internal/external audits in support of document control function

·         Compile department metrics and report out to management. Coordinate collection and compilation of slides for management review meetings

·         Schedule and prepare meeting agendas for Global Change Control Board

·         Generate and distribute Change Control Board meeting minutes

Requirements:

·         Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent work experience

·         Two years of experience in document control in the medical device or pharma industry

·         Ability to work in a matrixed organizational structure, developing strong relationships with multi-national business partners

·         Exceptional attention to detail

·         Ability to take direction and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·         Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in electronic data management systems

·         Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

·         Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

·         Ability to work in a matrixed organizational structure, developing strong relationships with multi-national business partners
