GATE UPDATE: Online registration for GATE 2021 is EXTENDED!!

GATE 2021 is a computer-based test (CBT) where candidates will have three hours to answer. The scores of GATE 2021 will be valid for three years (i.e 22nd March 2024) from the date of the announcement of the results.

The GATE 2021 will be having objective type questions- Multiple choice questions (MCQs), Multiple select questions (MSQs), Numerical answer type (NAT) questions. 

Earlier the last registration date was 7 October with late fees of ₹500. Now, applicants will have to pay a fee of  ₹500 per paper in  the period of  7- 12 October, 2020. It is advised to keep a check on your registered email-id, as the last date for scrutiny from the GATE Authorities is 21st October,2020. People with some discrepancies may receive a mail from the same to resolve the issue.

Steps to apply:

Step 1: Log on to the website – gate.iitb.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on link that reads, GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS)

Step 3: Tap on ‘New User’ and enter details to register. Refer our 

Step 4: Sign-in by using your registered ID and complete the application form

Step 5: Upload documents, images and signature in relevant format

Step 6: Pay the application fee
